The weekly update
Every plan updates positions once a week, on Mondays. The table subtitle reads "Updates weekly on Mondays" and shows the date of the last update.
New keywords do not wait for Monday. The tracker checks them right after you add them, and first positions arrive in a few minutes.
The tracker keeps one reading per keyword, engine and device per day. A second check on the same day replaces the first.
Refresh now
Refresh now at the top of the Rank Tracker checks your keywords again at once.

- The count is per account and resets every Monday. The scheduled Monday update does not use a refresh.
- Hover over Refresh now to see how many refreshes you have left this week.
- To refresh only some keywords, tick their rows and click Refresh in the bar above the table. That also uses one refresh, no matter how many rows you ticked.
- A refresh checks only the engines the project tracks now.
Refresh now switches off when you have no keywords or no refreshes left. Once your refreshes are used up, the scheduled update still runs. A refresh is also refused while a check for the same keywords is still running.
Daily ranking updates
The Daily add-on checks your positions every day instead of once a week. It applies to every project on your account. The header then reads "tracked daily", and the table subtitle reads "Updates daily".
Plan: the Daily add-on comes with the paid plans. Its price depends on your plan.

These prices cover the keywords your plan includes. To get daily updates on a bigger keyword tier, contact support.
To add daily updates:
- Open Account, then the Billing tab.
- On your plan card, set Ranking updates to Daily updates.
- Click Update subscription and confirm the dialog.
On Free, pick Daily updates on the plan card when you buy a plan. Checkout and add-ons walks through the checkout. Until you add it, a Daily ranking updates card below the keyword table shows the add-on price.
Get rankings by email
The tracker can mail a ranking report each time your positions update.
- Click Tracker settings at the top of the Rank Tracker.
- Under Email ranking updates, tick Send a ranking report after every update.
- Type the recipients, separated by commas. Leave the field empty to use your account email.
- Click Save settings.
The mail arrives with the subject "Ranking update for" and your domain. It lists each keyword with its engine, device, position and change. It goes out on each day your keywords were checked. That means Mondays with weekly updates and every day with the Daily add-on.
Ranking emails work on every plan. On Pro Business and Pro Agency, the sender name and reply address can carry your own brand. The White label section of these docs covers the brand settings.
