Frequently asked questions
When does the Shopify app launch?
The app is in development now and launches on the Shopify App Store. Until then, the web scanner already checks any Shopify store, free for 250 pages, no account needed.
Is the Shopify app free?
Yes. The app will be free to install and will include the free tier of all seven tools: 250 pages per scan, 10 keywords, 5 AI prompts, 2 uptime monitors and 25 audit pages. Pro plans unlock higher limits inside the same app.
Does it check product description links?
Yes. Links inside product descriptions, collection descriptions, pages, blog posts and navigation menus are all checked. Description links break most often, because they point to products and pages that later get removed.
What happens when I discontinue a product?
Every link still pointing to the removed product gets flagged in the next scan, with its exact location. You can fix each one to a replacement product or collection before customers hit the dead page.
Does it slow down my storefront?
No. All scanning runs on our servers against your public storefront. The app adds no scripts to your theme and nothing to customer page loads. Checkout speed is untouched.
Does it work with the WordPress plugin and web app?
Yes. One account covers the web app and the WordPress plugin today, and will cover the Shopify app at launch. A store on Shopify and a blog on WordPress can share the same plan, with all reports in one dashboard.
