Pro slots and covered domains

A paid plan gives you a number of Pro slots. By the end of this page you will know which domains hold them. You will also know what full slots block.

Plan: Pro Personal has 1 Pro slot, Pro Business 5 and Pro Agency 250. Free has none.

What a Pro slot is#

A Pro slot covers one domain. A covered domain gets the paid features of your plan:

• The scheduled weekly scan, with its email alert.
• Publishing the public report page.
• Pro features in the WordPress plugin, on a connected site.

Slots count domains, not projects. A project and a connected WordPress site on the same domain use one slot together.

Which domains hold your slots#

Your slots fill up in this order:

1. Connected WordPress sites, oldest connection first.
2. Your project domains, in the order you created them.

The first domains in that list hold the slots until they run out. Every other domain works with free features.

For Pro features inside the WordPress plugin, only connected sites count. The sites you connected first hold the slots.

Reconnecting a site#

Connecting the same site again keeps its place in line, as long as you never disconnected it. A site you disconnected goes to the back of the line when it returns.

Where you see your slots#

• The sidebar on the Projects page shows a meter of used and open Pro site slots.
• The Billing tab of your account shows Pro site slots, with the covered domain names.
• Each project card carries a PRO or FREE pill. PRO means the domain holds a slot.

When every slot is in use#

You can still add projects and connect WordPress sites. Both are unlimited on every plan. The new domains run with free features.

What a full set of slots blocks:

• Publishing a public report page for an uncovered domain. A message says every Pro slot in your plan is in use.
• Weekly scans for an uncovered domain. The switch shows a PRO badge and stays off.
• Plugin Pro features on extra connected sites. The connect screen says so before you approve.

Pages you published earlier stay live, even when their domain loses its slot later.

Free up a slot or get more#

A domain leaves your slots once no project and no connected site uses it. So delete the project you no longer need from its Scan settings. If it has a connected WordPress site, disconnect that too from the WordPress tab. The next domain in line then moves up.
