A client group bundles the projects you run for one client. By the end of this page you will have created a group and know how it splits your monthly report.
Plan: client groups come with Pro Agency. On other plans the Reports tab shows "Client groups come with Pro Agency."
What a group holds
A client group is a set of projects. Its monitors are the monitors of those projects. Each project sits in one group at most.
Create a client group
- Open any project and click Uptime monitor in the sidebar.
- Click the Reports tab. It shows once you have at least one monitor.
- Under Client groups, type a Name, such as "Acme Co".
- Click Create client group.
Add projects to a group
- Click Edit on the group's row.
- Tick the Projects that belong to this client.
- Click Save changes.
The ticked list is the group's full membership, so untick a project to take it out. Ticking a project that sits in another group moves it here.
Below the groups, the line "Not yet grouped" lists the projects without a group.
What groups change in the monthly report
Without groups, you get one monthly report for your whole account. With groups, you get one report per group, plus one for every project left ungrouped.
A group's report carries the group name in the mail subject and a "Client group" line in the PDF. Monthly uptime reports covers the rest of the report.
To see a group's report for the month so far, click Download on its row.
Delete a group
Click Delete on the group's row and confirm. The projects stay as they are and move to "Not yet grouped".
