Every login by email needs a six-digit code from your inbox. By the end of this page you will have the code in hand, or another way in.
Check the address first
The Check your email page names the address the code went to. A typo there means the code went somewhere else.
Click Use a different email and type the address again.
Look in spam and other folders
- The email comes from hello@brokenlinkchecker.io.
- The subject reads "Your Broken Link Checker login code".
- Search your spam, junk and promotions folders for that subject.
On a company address, a mail filter may hold the email. Ask your IT team to allow hello@brokenlinkchecker.io.
Get a fresh code
- On the Check your email page, click Resend code.
- Wait for the message "A new code has been sent to your email."
- Use the code from the newest email.
Each new code replaces the one before. An older code then shows "Invalid or expired code. Please try again."
The code says it expired
The code works for a short time. The email states how long. After that, click Resend code for a fresh one. Type the new code soon after it arrives.
Log in with Google instead
If your account uses a Google address, click Continue with Google on the Log in or sign up page. You land in the same account, with no code needed.
