Broken Link CheckerA suggestion does nothing until you act on it. By the end of this page you will have sorted your suggestions and taken them to your site.
Approve or skip one suggestion
On the Suggested tab, each card has two buttons:
- Add link approves a new link. On a duplicate card the button reads Unlink later link.
- Skip sets the suggestion aside.
Approved suggestions move to the Approved tab. Skipped ones move to the Skipped tab. The footer counts how many of the run's suggestions you have handled.
Change your mind
Open the Approved or Skipped tab and click Undo on the card. The suggestion goes back to the Suggested tab.
Approve or skip in bulk
- Tick the box on each card you want, or tick Select all.
- Use the chips All, Link to add or Duplicate link to narrow the list first, if you like.
- Click Approve or Skip. Each button shows how many cards you picked.
Approving does not change your site
The web app never edits your pages. Approving only marks a suggestion as the one you want. Pick one of three ways to apply it.
Add the links by hand
Open the page in your editor and add each link. Use the anchor text and the AFTER view from the card as your guide.
Download the fix prompt
- On the Suggested tab, click Download fix prompt.
- A text file downloads with your domain in its name.
- Paste its contents into any AI assistant or coding agent that can edit your site.
The prompt lists each edit with its page and its target. It also says whether to wrap existing text, insert a sentence or remove a duplicate link. It uses your approved suggestions. When you have approved none, it includes every suggestion you have not skipped.
The prompt is a fixed file. You cannot edit its wording in the app.
Apply with the WordPress plugin
On a connected WordPress site, the plugin shows the same suggestions on its Internal Link Optimizer page. You can apply approved links from there, one by one or all at once. The plugin only edits text it can change safely, and it keeps an undo. SEO tools in wp-admin covers the steps.
The tool page notes "Approved changes are applied on the next publish". That note refers to the WordPress plugin, where you apply approved links. A suggestion the plugin applied shows as Applied.
Export a CSV
Click Export CSV at the top of the page. The file holds every suggestion from your last finished run, whatever its status.
The first columns are action, source URL, target URL, anchor text, impact and status. Method, existing text, insert sentence, insert after and reason follow. Use it to plan the work in a spreadsheet or to share it with your team.
Suggestions and your monthly count
A suggestion counts against your month when the run writes it. Skipping it does not give it back. Approve and skip as often as you like, because neither action costs anything.
